All the records that I have looked at for Hugh McCormick, record that he was born in Ireland, no further details of where and to whom were located, so you may need to contact your DNA match and ask about them about the "source" of their information and anything else that they might be willing to part with. Better luck on the Darby side as Dorothy Darby's father Thomas Darby said that he was from Carrickatee, County Monaghan in his Petition for Naturalization. So, there is a little bit here for you to go on with your research.
