Attached you will find a 2-page family group sheet detailing what I have found on Michael and Ann (maiden name unknown) McDermott. Three of their known children, Catherine, Thomas, and John P. McDermott were born in Ireland. Tombstones for Catherine and Thomas identify their place of birth as Gort, Co Galway.

I have attached two pages of information on the Michael and Ann McDermott family. Their children were born in Gort, County Galway. The family was in Louisville, Jefferson County Kentucky by 1850.
