I'm hoping to find out more about my mother's people. William McDowell, born C 1805, and  his wife Elizabeth Burleigh both came from Dromore. I think they married about 1835 and had Samual, Margaret, William and other children. They came to the United States in 1862 and lived in Philadelphia, Penna.

I believe Wm (born 1805) had a father named William. Elizabeth Burleigh;s father was Pierce, and her mother was Elinor Morrow. I know nothing beyond that.

Thanks for any help anyone can give me.
