Looking for any information on our relative, Sarah McGann (1842-1890), [who married Thomas Killeen (1828-1907) in Liverpool, England on August 4, 1864 and moved back to Carrowhall, County Mayo, Ireland,] who is a sister to Judith or Julia McGann (1829-1887) who married Patrick Murphy on April 5, 1854. We have the McGanns in both County Mayo and County Sligo. They may have owned a flax farm.
Thomas Killeen was a blind piper and his brother, Patrick, was a dance master. They entertained in the "big" houses. Would love to know if they had other siblings. His father's name was Anthony Killeen according to the marriage certificate with Sarah McGann. Sarah's father's name was also Anthony.
Also looking for a picture of Annie Murphy Getzfread, 1969-1929, (Julia McGann's daughter) who emigrated to Pennsylvania and moved to California. She passed in Los Angeles, California on October 1, 1929.
Thank you for any help you can give,
Cousins Maureen & Terri

Maureen and Terri:
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I had no success finding any McGann baptismal records on the subscription site Roots Ireland. Likely Sarah and Judith McGann were baptized in a church which no longer has records back to 1842 and earlier. I then focused on the Killeens since you had a townland Carrowhall which is in the small parish of Rosslee in south central Co. Mayo to the north of Ballinrobe. You may have some or all of these records in the links below. The first link is an 1833 Tithe record for Rosslee parish showing a Patrick Killeen leasing land in Carrowhall. Then I located an 1856 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Rosslee parish showing a Patrick Killeen in Carrowhall. Likely the same Patrick but not sure how he relates to Anthony Killeen. By the way, the RC reocrds for the area start around 1842.
The third and four links are the 1901 census record for Thomas Killeen and his family. Note a 19 year old son Patrick. In 1911, son Thomas was head of household but he has an uncle Patrick living with him (the dance master??). The final three records are from the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie where you can view civil records. The first is the elder Thomas' death record, followed by the birth record of Patrick (the son shown in the 1901 census. The third record raises questions. You mentioned that Sarah McGann Killeen died in 1890 but when I searched for the death record, the 1890 record was for an unmarried Sarah from Carrowhall who was 41.
Let me know what questions you have.

A likely daughter of Thomas' father Anthony Killeen is Mary Killeen who married Edward Burke on 14-Jan-1864. She is listed as being 18 so that means she was born around 1846 but I cannot find the birth record. Link below is her marriage record (which is also attach her)

I have Thomas Killeen on the Wiki Tree at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Killeen-245 if anyone wants to add information that would be great.
I also reckon Bridget Killeen https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Killeen-243 is a sister of Anthony Killeen. Any help to join up these gaps would be appreciated
