I looked for the above names in the RootsIreland database, with no findings. Is it possible that your ancestors were Quakers? A William Edmonson was an early Quaker in Ireland and settled for a while in Cavan. Eventually he went to Laois.

There is a parish named Killan, which covers Bailieborough & Shercock.  I don't know if you have searched all the free records but do look at the records available at National Archives, (http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/) look at the various spellings of Wauhope, & you will find them in Killinkere, which is a different parish to Killann. On irishgenealogy.ie there is this marriage:
