I am looking for my 2x Great Grandfather Michael Burke who owned the farm at the bawn in Convoy. Michael also known as Mick passed away on 8th Dec 1956. He was well known also for his basket making. I am trying to find out who owned the farm before him to see if it maybe had been family connection. I have written to the man who now owns the farm for help. I have also emailed St Marys to try find out were he is buried also. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I was over last weekend, was lucky enough to meet a nice gentleman who remembers the Burke farm so he had told me were to find this, was a great start to my trip over.
