Munster Ancestors

Looking for information:  My great-grandfather, Michael H. Russell was, I am told, from Tipperary, Ireland.  I estimate him to be born around 1836 and I'm guessing he immigrated to the United States in the early 1850s.  He came to Baltimore, Maryland.  He married a woman named Mary Radford, whose obituary states she was from County Wexford.  They had 8 children:  Peter, Mary, Ellen, Catherine, Margaret, Lizzie, Anna, and Joe.

Jeremiah m. Anna Sullivan daughter of Micheal Sullivan and Julia Shea. B.March 27 1857 Canada English. 

Jeremiah and Anna married 1877 Rush County Indiana 

Siblings of Jeremiah are Daniel b 1849 

John b. 1850 

Patrick b. 1852

Bridget b. 1853 to a Denis and Mary Cooper 

Mary b 1854

Margaret b 1856 

Denis b 1857 

Please contact me about the family if you like more information. I have a lot more. But I would very much like to know more of their history in Ireland. How did they survive during the starving years. Are the Foleys who live in Slaght now my relatives.
