Trying to find information on my gggrandfather Michael O'Reilly who lived in Antigua West Indies in the 1840's and returned to Ireland at least twice. He finally returned in 1851 for the benefit of his health according to his wWill in Antigua and died in 1852--I suspect about 1 March 1852. He was an overseer on a sugar plantation as was his brother James Patrick O'Reilly who died in Antigua in 1854 aged 32. His will mentions a brother Francis and an uncle Michael who lived in Corglass. The Michael I am trying to find details for described himself as a native of Longfield, Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim.
Is there anyone who can direct me as to where I might search? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The subscription site Roots Ireland shows a March 1 1852 death for a Michael Reilly in Carrigallen RC parish-- townland shown as Killygar.
The link below shows the 1857 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Carrigallen civil parish. As you would likely expect there are many Reilly records including a Francis in Drumleevan townland and nine Michael Reillys including one in Corglass but none in Longfield.

Kingsley and Roger, I posted the link to the query on the private Leitrim History & Genealogy private Facebook page and it has garnered a number of comments including links to a wills index and a local graveyard plus some O'Reillys were notified. There is also a Carrigallen History page on FB somewhere.
If Kingsley does not want to join or is not on FB let me know and I will post the links supplied. You just ask to join and it is very well moderated. Kingsley as Roger knows I have many links genealogy links to the south Leitrim area hence the interest, oddly I came across a newspaper cutting for 1865 were a Michael Murray in his pleadings in court referenced spending 20 years in the Indies in the army.
