Rosa Jackson, wife of the Rev John of Tallow, was buried in our churchyard in Mepal Cambridgeshire 24 nov 1870.  Her gravestone says she was aged 51.  I understand that John Jackson was rector of Tallow, with a house there and vicar of Kilwatermoy in 1863 (Griffith).  We should love to know how it came to pass that his wife died here in Cambridgeshire

    Yes she did, Ancestry have her record in Cambridgeshire. 
    B 1820 died 1870 aged 50.
    Registration District is Ely and the Volume number is 3b and page number 393.
    With that information you should be able to get a copy of the death cert.

    The following from the Cork Examiner dated February 28th 1871:

    Death: JACKSON - At South Parade, Bath, Isobel Rosa, daughter of the Rev. John Jackson, Rector of Tallow.
