I have discovered through DNA that my Ryan line was in Killoscully around 1815. I am trying to find out about my third great grandfather, Ryan, no first name as he was deceased when wife, Catherine Ryan emigrated to Galena, Illinois between 1866-1848 with children, Patrick, my second gg born around 1825, Mary, born around 1830, Jeremiah born around1832-1837. Through the Irish naming pattern of Patrick's first child, John, it is possible that his name was John Ryan. They later moved to Ballinahinch around 1850 and eventually to Newport, Tipperary. Where do you suggest I look to find baptisms of any of the children? Thanks!

There are two RC parishes which relate to Killoscully civil parish. The first is Newport where records go back to the late 1700s (with some gaps) and then the Ballyinahinch records start in 1839. The subscription site Roots Ireland has the records and FindMyPast.ie (another subscription site would also have the records.

The only Jeremiah Ryan baptismal record in Newport with father John and mother Catherine was a January 27 1829 record with father John Ryan and mother Catherine Coffey. The same parents had a Thomas in 1831, Mary in 1834 and Patrick in 1843. The names match-up but not the years.
