I am trying to find out any information about my grandmother Martha Reid. She had a son named Robert or Bobby as he was called and moved to South africa where she married my grandfather John Manuel. She had 6 children of which 4 moved overseas when they became old enough to do so. My father Alfred and his sister Hilda stayed in South Africa. Her daughter Alma moved to Ireland and maried an Irish gentleman and became Alma O'Riley. Alma was deaf and dumb and often visited my father Alfred with her daughter Dolores in South Africa and stayed in the convent in Wynberg CT. The last time I saw aunty Alma and Dolores was in 1977.

If anybody has any information I would really appreciate hearing from you.

    Thank you for getting back to me and sorry for only replying  now.

    I don't have any dates but I believe she lived in Ballymore or Ballymogan Dublin.She moved with her son Robert Reid to South Africa and married Louis Manuel. Her daughter Alma Manuel moved to Ireland and married a Thomas O' Reily. I'm not sure of the spelling. They have three daughters Dolores, Virginia and I cannot remember the other daughters name. Alma O'Reilly nee Manuel has since passed away

    I'm am still trying to get more information but that is all that I have at the moment.
