William John FRYATT b.abt.1825; Elizabeth FRYATT b.abt. 1828 and Mary Ann FRYATT b.abt.1830 may have been born in WATERFORD, DUNMORE CO. GALWAY OR YOUGHAL,CO.CORK
of parents Elizabeth and John Fryatt. John was from Harwich, Essex, England. I cannot find their marriage record, so I do not know Elizabeth's maiden name.
In 1841 the family are living in North Benfleet, Essex.
Any information will help knock down my 'brick wall', thankyou.

Hi Sophia,
Thank you very much for your message. I hope that someone with information is able to assist you and help you to further your research.
Was Elizabeth born in Waterford City? If so you could try looking for her baptismal record for more information. The Irish Times websites is useful in that it shows what Catholic records are available for specific parishes. For Waterford City parishes follow this link:
As you can see from the above link there are copies available from Waterford Heritage and Genealogy Centre. Here is their email, however please note that a fee may apply. mnoc@iol.ie
Alternatively, you could try contacting the local parish priest for some possible assistance.
You could also check for record of the family in the land records pertaining to Ireland in the 19th century. There are two:
The Tithe Applotment Books (1823-1838) found at http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/search/tab/home.jsp
and Griffith?s Valuation (1848-1864) found at http://www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/

Thank you Emma for all that lovely information - however I have no idea of Elizabeth's maiden name until I can find a record of her marriage to John Fryatt. That is why I'm looking for the births of their two eldest children who may have been born in Waterford.
