Hi. I am looking into the family of James Rea born 1774, I think that he may have married three times.

1st wife unknown.

2nd wife Jane Agnew

3rd wife Agnes Cain.

i am most interested in his 2nd wife anf family, but any information would be very welcome.

    Have you already checked rootsireland or familysearch or other databases like ancestry.com for information about the family? 

    Records for Donegore (the RC parish of Antrim) don't begin until 1874. Do you know what religion they were?

  • Janet,  I believe James Rea's first wife was a Beck, martha or Margaret.   I do not recall where I found it because it was long ago when I was researching Jane Agnew.    There is a lot of information on the James Agnew and Jane Rea descendants at
