Family history claims that John Kennedy was born in Antrim in 1722, married a Miss Murray about 1748 and sailed for America shortly thereafter ,landing in Baltimore.  They were Scots-Irish.

Any information - leads - would be most welcome.

Unfortunately,it may be difficult to find information given the early dates you mention as the reality of finding documentation pertaining to births/baptisms/marriages/deaths in Ireland prior to 1800 ? particularly in rural areas ? is that they simply may not exist. It may be an idea to contact the Ulster Historical Foundation to see if they can be of assistance, however please note that a fee may apply. Here is their email:
