Would love information about Nancy ADAMS she married John McMillen 1 Dec 1846 at Muckamore Parish Church. Her marriage cert noted her father as David ADAMS a surveyor but I have been able to find nothing about him at all.  thanks

  • Patsy,

Can you give is a bit more information from the 1846 marriage certificate? What were the couples respective townlands (Residences) at that time? Plus what was John McMillen’s occupation, plus his father’s name and occupation? This may enable me to pick them up in the land records.

For example, I see a David Adams who was farming in Kilcross in 1862, but without more information it’s difficult to link him.
