Introduction

Hi!  I just wanted to introduce myself!  My name is Liana Shannon and the Shannon line of my family comes from Templepatrick.  About 12 years ago I finally went to see the family homestead that my greatgrandfather, Gib Shannon lived in before he moved to Canada.  There I met the owner Jane Cameron (maiden name Shannon) and her 2 wonderful daughters.  They were all so kind and gracious to me, treated me like family and it was the highlight of my trip.  I wrote to Jane, but did not hear back as she was 92 at the time and I suspect that returning my correspondance might have been difficult.  Anyone who knows her family, please give them my best and my gratitude for their kindness :).
