Looking for information on Joseph McCann who married Sarah A Gibbons (McCann) in the early 1900s. (Sarah was born Nov.28 , 1878, died May 3, 1950) . I have a highschool book dated 1898/1899 that belonged to Joseph.
Joseph & Sarah had sons Philip (my father) , Joseph & Frances.
Parents were Mary Cannon ( died April 26th , 1925 , age 82) & James Gibbons ( died April 9, 1891, age 46) - married in Toronto Canada in St. Michael's Cathedral July 2 1877. had at some point immigarted to Canada. the family settled around Davisville or the Toronto area
. Had sons Joseph ( my grandfather) , John & lawrence who are listed in the 1903 Tornto directory as hrdware store owners/employees & plummer.

Do you have any more information regarding the family in Ireland? In particular did they come from Armagh parish or just Armagh County?
When did they move to Canada? Were any of the children born in Ireland? Do you know their religious denomination?
