William James Brooks born 1836 emigrated to Canda 1855.  Landed in Montreal, Canada.  Appears to be William Henry James Brooks in church records as well.  Obituary states he came with his parents.  No names listed.  Farmed near Hamilton Ontario Canada and then in 1895 bought farm land in Rural Municipality of Hamiota Manitoba Canada.  Church records also list for a period of 2 years a Mary Brooks living in Hamiota, Manitoba Canada.  May have been a Sister or Niece.

  • Thanks. More than I knew before John and Charles were names handed down in GGf sons. Its hard without any info but will try searching with these.
