Hello.  My family immigrated in the Summer of 1851 from county Armagh. There was the widow of John Boyle who died in 1842 or 1844.  Her name was Elizabeth Curry, she was born in 1803.  Her children were William b.1830, Alice b.1832, James Cornelius b. 1837, and Richard C. b. 1841.  The New York Census of 1865 said that she had an additional 5 children but I do not know their names.  They left Ireland aboard the ship "New World".  They arrived in New York, NY. on Sept. 16, 1851 and lived in Rochester, NY.  I can not locate any additional information on either John Boyle or Elizabeth Curry and would appreciate anything that anyone can tell me.  Thank You.

I looked at the Tithe Applotment listings for Co. Armagh and there were about 10 Boyle records. All of them were located in Creggan civil parish so you may want to focus in that area. I assume the family was Roman Catholic.
