I am looking for information on my Great Grandfather who was born in 1840 in Armagh. His father was also William Loudon and I think he may have been stationed there with the military the 79th Highlanders. His mother was Ann Queen and her father Henry was born in Down County about 1820.

He migrated with his parents to Scotland about 1846 to 1850.

I am not aware of any Loudons who went to Australia at this time.
