HI I am researching the carroll family from the seagoe parish in Armagh - near portadown - William carroll was born in 1832 -and married elizabeth Vaughan in 1851 and had 4 childern - he is my great great grandfather - i have more details but im looking for some connections from around this period [1832] but any help is accepted-- all the best--- peter

  • here is an update on family history surrounding william carroll of seagoe/portadown armagh

    william carroll b.1832 -d.1917   - married Margaret Vaughan b.1831 [father james vaughan 1808-1868 possibly]

    Children  of william are - william 1864-1940, ellen b.1866 , hannah b.1869, william b.1870 [yes 2 williams] and possible earlier father of first william b1832 is another william carroll born 1809 d.1860 -this area of family history is very difficult to verify and locate so any more information is welcome [so about there being 4 williams but they span 3 generations and beyond-thanks
