Henry McNally (or McEnally) married Anne Magrand in 1826 in the village of Moy. Anne had been previously married to a man named Gribbon or Gribbin and had two daughters by him, Rose Ann and Mary Ann. Henry and Anne had two sons: Patrick (born 1827) and Henry (birth year unknown). In 1831 the family emigrated to America.

I searched the Roots Ireland indexes for baptismal records for the four children and also the marriage of Henry and Anne but could not locate any records even though Roots has Clonfeacle RC records back to 1814.  If they belonged to another religious denomination, that would explain why the records were not there.

Next summer, the National Library in Dublin plans to place the Catholic parish registers online for free searching.. Perhaps at that time, you can search the Clonfeacle (Moy) records to see if you can find the records. Sometimes the handwriting is difficult to read and the surnames could have been mistranscribed by Roots. Also many parishes have unexplained gaps in their records.

Please see attached marriage and baptism records which may relate to your family and are available on Ancestry.  As Roger says the writing is difficult to read and names vary.

I haven't been able to find a baptism for Mary Ann Gribbon but there is a record for a Joan Gribbon.  Also so far unable to locate baptism record for Henry McNally.
