I am trying to trace my Irish lineage and have found a great-great grandmother on my maternal side to Newry, County Down.
She was born in 1832 and her name is Elizabeth Rice.
Her father is listed as being born in County Down and his name is Thomas Rice.
He married Catherine Anne O'Hare in 1814.
Thomas Rice's father was David Rice and his mother was Miss Surley. She is also listed as being born in County Down, Ireland.
