There are 117 John Coynes born in Galway on www.rootsireland.ie/ Do you have an approximate birth year?

There is only 1 Meath Elizabeth Donnellan record - a church baptism in1852

Their marriage is there - 1890 in Meath

There is a charge to view the record but it will give you the fathers' names and the parish in Meath

Thank you for such a speedy reply to my post. My John Coyne in Census of Ireland 1901 states his age as 32 Elizabeth the same, so birth year abt 1869. Johns sister in law is on same  census Maryanne Donnellan,also my Grandmother Georgina although it says Georgieana. I have been endevering to find out more about her family as she always keep information a secret, i don't know why! I think i have the right family as she is the only Georgina / Georgieana that i've been able to find in kells Co. Meath.

How do I go about viewing the record & how much does it cost and how do I go about paying

Hi Judy,

There are 2 records of the 1869 baptism of John Coyne in Galway on rootsireland.ie; I suspect it might be the same one twice.

You need to go to the site and purchase credit - pay-per-view if you think you won't be using it much.

Credit card is the usual way - I don't think they have paypal.

A record is usually about $7 or $8 I think but is much cheaper than the GRO and you get it instantly.
