    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

Hacketstown records are on Roots Ireland but when i searched the Co. Carlow records for a Patrick Dalton baptismal record with parents Edward/Edmund/Edmond and mother Margaret, I get no record. Here is a link to the parish register  http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0707

I then expanded the search to all of Ireland and found an 1831 record in Co. Laois. See below. I would consider this record as a lead. Are you aware of any siblings?
