Hello,

My father Francis Hanlon, born 11 Feb 1915 was baptized at St Mary's church, Ballynarry, Kilnaleck, County Cavan on the 12 Feb 1915.  It says on his birth certificate that the parish is Ballymachugh and the Diocese is Ardagh(?).  His mother was formerly Mary Reilly and father John Hanlon.  We believe that they later moved to Moate or Horseleap.

Can anybody please help me find the correct parish and does anyone have any information on this family?  We have lost contact with all of our Irish relatives and would love to connect with them and also to see where he might have grown up.

    I looked up John and Mary Hanlon in the 1911 census. They lived in Clonloghan which is in the civil parish of Drumloman, but is in the catholic parish of Ballymachugh and Drumloman South. You will find the census return at http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/reels/nai001734091/. Hope this is some help
