I have a marriage certificate of John McDonnell to Bridget Nash (they married in Sydney, Australia) and the birthplace listed for John is County Cavan. His father is Patrick McDonnell and mother Ellen Clarke.
Bridget's birthplace is listed as County Limerick and her father Maurice Nash and mother Ellen Madden.
I hope to connect with anyone else researching this family group.
