John Cahill and Ann Foley marriage in Ennis 1857,they had children Mary and Margaret before leaving for Lancashire in 1860's where subsequent children were born---these dates are on the Ennis Parish records.I would be interested to see if i can find out more about Cahills and Foleys in the Ennis area----thank you

Have you already tried rootsireland (a subscription site) or familysearch ( a free site) for further information about John and Ann? Ennis parish records begin in the 1830s so those sites would be helpful. Clare County Library also has a great page for local studies:
