My grandmother Gertrude Mary Baker's (née Egan) grandparents were Patrick Bakey and Anne Shannon we believe were from County Clare and Patrick from Ennistimon specifically. Patrick Bakey born about 1832 with father Peter and mother Bridget arrived in Adelaide South Australia 4 June 1857.  Patrick Bakey came from Co Clare and the Griffith Valuation has only one Peter Bakey for Co Clare and who lived at house

7b, Kilcornan Road

, DeerPark Middle Townland near Ennistimon.  Patrick Bakey married Anne Shannon probably from Co Clare; Anne arrived in Adelaide

on 30 April

1855. Any information about them would be great

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

Can't tell if your ancestors were RC but if they were records for the Ennistymon RC church do not start until 1870 which is too late for your interests.

I looked at the 1901 census for Bakey records. There were nine people with this surname. An older couple lived in Fisher Street to the northwest of Kilmanaheen civil parish. Intrerestingly, their daughter was a widow but she married a man named Shannon. There must be a connection to your family.
