I live in the USA and am trying to connect the Normiles in my family back to County Clare and to each other. I think both families are from Killadysert.  Here is what I know about them:

SIMON NORMILE FAMILY (Simon, Bridget, Matthew, John -- all from Co. Clare)

Simon Normile, born about 1812, came to New York about 1850

Bridget Normile (nee Kane), wife of Simon, born about 1815-1818, came to New York from Limerick in August, 1851 on the Harriett with her two sons, Matthew & John

Matthew Normile, born 1846, son of Simon & Bridget (my great grandfather)

John Normile, born 1848, son of Simon & Bridget

 

DENNIS NORMILE FAMILY (Dennis, John, Malachi -- all from Coolacussane, Killadysert, Co. Clare)

Dennis Normile, born about 1790, don't know when or if he came to USA

Dennis' wife and mother of John & Malachi - unknown

John Normile, son of Dennis, born about 1822, came to USA about 1853

Malachi Normile, son of Dennis, born about 1829, came to USA in 1854
