Looking for information on this Clare family.
Edmond Roughan b. abt 1846 (he was 55 in 1901 census, but on passenger list to NYC in 1907 has him at 56) location unknown, marries Bridget Woods (sometimes given as Fitzgibbon) she is b. abt 1846 (Bridget dies in 1896 in Barbane (I have cc of death registration) gives her age as 50. Location of marriage unkn.

Tody b 25 Apr 1868 Annicargia, Clare parent Edmund Roughan and Bridget Fitzgibbons (I have cc of birth registration) shows them from townland of Caherhurley parish of Kilnoe. No record of him later
James b 28 Aug 1871, Annicargia, Clare parents Edmond Roughan and Bridget Fitzimons. Immigrates to America
Mary b 13 Apr 1873 Bridgetown, Co Clare, Parents: Edmond Rughan & Bridget Woods
Patrick b 21 Mar 1875, Derra, Co Clare, Parents Edmond Roughan & Bridget Woods (I have cc of birth registration). He is my grandfather, immigrates to America 1896
Margaret b 9 Jan 1877 Barbane, Co Clare, parents; Edmond Roughan & Bridget Roughan Woods
from Broadford Parish register we have baptisms of
John 24 ? 1876 son o f Edm Roughan and Woods, Barbane Spons Timothy Roughan & Hanna Roughan. He immigrates to America
Bridget b Sept 1879 daughter of Edmd Roughan & Bridt Fitzsimmons Spons Timothy Roughan & Hanna Roughan

Denis b 1882 he immigrates to America 1905
Anne b 1886 arrives NYC 1907 with father Edmond. No record of them afterwards

After almost three years, I stumbled upon this 2014 post and see Edmond Roughan in Derra, Co. Clare, a child's baptism in Broadford R.C. parish and mention of Derra townland in the post heading. My gr gr grandparents Michael Roughan b.c.1810/18/20 (many spelling variations!) and Elizabeth Dolan m. 1832 in the R.C. parish of Parteen - not far from Broadford parish. Michael and Elizabeth's first child, Mary, was baptised in the R.C. parish of Cratloe 1833, the remaing 6 children baptised in the R.C. Parish of Parteen - with the residence given as Derra.
In the baptismal records mentioned, there was not one Roughan/Roohan/Rowan/Rohan as a sponsor so I have no clue to help identify family of Michael Rohen/Rohan (U.S. spelling) or his birthplace. I assume birthplace would have been Derra or somewhere nearby. In a recent R.C. database I created for the surname Roughan (all spelling variations) in the Diocese of Limerick & Killaloe parishes of Parteen/Meelick, Cratloe, Broadford I discovered numerous Roughan named and most residing in the townland of Derra. They must be related to my Michael - at least I hope they are.
The childrenof Michael & Elizabeth - Mary, Martin John, Bridget, Ann, John (my gr grandfather), Eliza began immigrating to Chicago, IL in mid 1860 with all including their parents there by 1874. Other than baptism, I have no record for the 7th. child, Patrick,
