I am looking for any information regarding my great-great-great-grandparents, John Storen and Catherine Hickey. I believe John was born around 1813, and that they were probably married in Ireland. They moved to Montreal, Quebec, Canada, where their son John was born. Two generations later, part of the family moved to Boston, Massachusetts, USA, where I am from. I would particularly like to find their marriage record, and any record that identifies their parents.

I searched births/baptisms on www.rootsireland.ie/ for John Storen born 1813 + - 2 years and got 2 matches but ther are both for John STOREY
One is 1813 Monaghan & the other 1812 Wicklow
No luck with the marriage record though
I checked the Tithe Applotments (free online) and there are 9 Storens - 7 in Clare (including 3 Johns) & 2 in Limerick. So looks like he was from Clare as you said and their records aren't on rootsireland.
With high hopes I tried www.irishgenealogy.ie for John & Cahterine but no luck!!

Thanks so much! Hopefully I'll be able to track their marriage down. I may actually be visiting Ireland next year to continue my research, so anything I can find out before I get there is very helpful.
