  • Your Mary Healey wasn't the daughter of James Healy of Cloonmore/Carhowmore in the parish of Killard (Doonbeg). This James Healy 1758-1859 did have a daughter Mary born c1829 but she married in 1849 Thomas Molohan of Tromra in the neighbouring parish of Kilmurry Ibrickan. James was 100 when he died & was still fathering children when he was about 70. Broadford in east Clare is over 40 miles from Doonbeg in west Clare. I think it more likely that your Mary Healey was from east Clare & would suggest that you concentrate your search in Broadford & the adjoining parishes.
