I  am Pauline and am trying to trace my ancesters one of which is Margaret Scanlon who was married to Daniel Boland about 1808 ca anyone help with any information. They had a daughter Mary Boland who married my gg grandfather Richard/Roger Haslam.

    I tried www.rootsireland.ie/ & ww.irishgenealogy.ie/ with no luck.
    findmypast.ie has some records for Margaret Scanlon from Kilrush around 1808 but they are births rather than marriages: (You need to purchase credit to view the records).
    one born 1811 died 1891
    one born 1809 died 1895
    one born 1800 died 1898
    one born 1813 died 1881

    There are some Daniel Boland birth records on rootsireland but all from counties other than Clare

  • Daniel Boland / Margaret Scanlan had a son Daniel baptised in Kilrush on 30 Dec 1829. The parish records begin in 1827 so if they had a daughter baptised before that date there won't be a record.
