John L. McMahon

Hi McMahon's,

My great grand parents came from County Clare. I don't have their parents names or any other ancestors so, I will give you what I have in hopes somebody will recognize that they are related and have information that will help me find my ancestors and hopefully find living relatives still in Ireland or ???  I don't know what city or parish they were from in County Clare. I do know they were Roman Catholic.

My great grand fathers name:

John L. McMahon  B: 1822 County Clare Ireland,  D: 11-22-1897 Grand Forks, North Dakota USA

1848: +M: Anne Quinlan  B: 1831 in either Clare or Tipperary, D: 6-10-1885 GF, N.Dak. USA

1849: They immigrated to Tottenham, Ontario, Canada

They had 16 children, all born in Ontario, Canada.  I have all the names and dates of their children but, since none of them were born in Ireland I'm not listing them. To my knowledge none of them returned to Ireland. Some of them migrated from Canada to the USA North Dakota, Minnesota, Montana and  Washington.

My grandfather born in Canada: Abraham Joseph McMahon

My father born in the USA:  Russell Abraham McMahon
