You might also look at the Clare Library which has a number of online resources for the Miltown Malbay area as well as for other areas of County Clare.  The link for that site is below:

There are a number of transcriptions of parish registers that are being done for the County at the moment and you may be able to access these via the above link. 

In addition, if you would consider creating a profile of Patrick O'Dea Fitzgibbon under the XO Chronicles tab at the top of the page, that would be great.  The Chronicles are a great way to share information about ancestors with as much or as little information as you have, and they are widely read by all of our members --some who may be researching the same family.
