            Would you have christian names for any and approx dates of birth or parish area to aid search. O'Dwyer is one of the most common name in Tipperary.

  • I too have links with Dwyer/O'Dwyer.  My Great Great Grandmother Ellen Wilkins, nee Brown(e)'s mother was Mary Dwyer and her father was Patric Brown(e).  I've been trying to find the Brown's in Ireland.  Ellen had a Brother Matthew, who also migrated to NZ via Australia.  Patrick Brown and Mary Dwyer had 7 children, Thomas, John ? died as an infant, Matthew, Patrick, Ellen, John and David. They lived in Gorteen townland, Emly parish in Tipperary South. We have sighted the baptismal records of these children  Matthew married a Bridget ? but can't find a marriage
