Hi,
I am seeking any background on my GGrandmother, Kathleen (Catherine) O'Halloran, born 1858 in Tulla, Clare to Patrick and Kate (nee Kelly).
She married Timothy Crowley in New Zealand in 1881. He was from County Cork.
She was, strangely, able to speak fluent French. The family rumour is that she worked for a French Diplomat before going to NZ.
Any info on her background would be most appreciated.
