Hi,

I am trying to find out information regarding ancestors and after searching through Co Clare websites, have found limited information. I am wondering if by chance anyone may have some information to add to the existing which I have listed below (which was found via my dad's cousin in Perth Aust. years ago)

James Cunningham b. Kiltanon Tulla (unsure if this is correct though)

married

Bridget Healy (unsure when married and unsure when she was born)

Children:

Patrick, b 1806 d.14 Aug 1882 NSW Aust

John b.14 May 1819 Glendree

Bridget b. 7 Feb 1822 Laharden/Lahardaun

Michael b. 1 July 1827 Glendree

Timothy b. 19 Mar 1830 Laharden/Lahardaun

From here my lineage is via Patrick which more information on his children is somewhat known. He had 14 children apparently of which 7 were born in Co. Clare before emigrating to australia :

Married in Broadford 24 Feb 1846 to Ellen Finn b. 1826 Kilsiley (unsure if this is correct) d. 8 Jul 1872 NSW and their Irish-born children were:

Mary b.18 Nov 1846 Kiltanon. d.1846 Tulla

James b.26 Mar 1848 Kiltanon d.1848 Tulla

John b 15 feb 1850 Kiltanon d. NSW

Michael b June 1852 Kyle Broadford d. NSW

Patrick b 12 Mar 1854 Kyle Broadford d.1854 Kiltanon

James b 5 Aug 1855 Kyle Broadford d. NSW

And the rest were born NSW Aust.

So I am trying to find more about James and Bridget if possible. I have found an entry in the tithe book Ocuupiers of land in the parish of tulla 11 february 1827 with a Ja's Cunningham of Glandree so I am assuming this is he. But that is all.

If anyone happens to know any further process then I would be interested in pursuing it

Thanks

Robert Cunningham
