Hi, I am seeking more info on the parents of Timothy Crowley, my Ggrandfather, who was born @ Currihevern West 19Apr1853.

His parents were John Crowley and Anne Buckley. The church records have their names in latin as Joannem and Annam.

I would like to know where and when they were married and died. Also, any records of siblings or grandparents would be a bonus. I vaguely believe a sibling, Patrick, went to the USA.

I can get little detail of what the people did for work in that area at the time. Was it flax, peat or pig farming?

Thanks

John Crowley

I went to www.irishgenealogy.ie and found the 1853 baptism record for Timothy. I also found an 1849 marriage record for John Crowley and Anne Buckley. You can also look at the actual image from the church record, however, the entries are in Latin. I would look at other years to see if you can locate any siblings of Timothy.
