My greatgrandmother(Margaret (Desmond) Coleman immigrated to the Boston area (1873-Winchester)'.  She is listed as a widow and had her her two teen aged daughters, Mary (my grandmother born) and Margaret who married a Rooney.  Her sisterin-law named Shea also lived in the next town to which she eventually moved.   They were from St. Erasmus Church) Aghada.  Also there were cousins named Weafer or Weaver also from the same place.  I have traced most of the descendants of the above in the US.

I have tried to find John and although I have a posed picture of him have had n luck.  He was a seaman an lived possability between 1832 and 1880.  I did find a reference to a seaman in a census in Wales 1861 which may be him.  I believe, but cannot prove that his father was Peter and his mother was Johanna Weever. Inch Ballykenefick?

.I have more presice information concerning the Desmond family. A cousin was Tom Desmond, former sheriff of San Francisco, CA an hero of thew rescue of the Australian prisners at Freemantle, Australia.
