Hello Constance--

I live in Southampton, Massachusetts.  My wife, Jacqueline Haskins, is a direct descendant of Henry Hoskins of Aghadown.  His son, William, emigrated to Plymouth in 1634.  I have a list of his descendants in my wife's line--which is only one branch of the Hoskins/Haskins in America.  I would be pleased to provide you with this information.

My search has been for the ancestors of Henry Hoskins--I believe his roots were in Beaminster, Dorset, England.  I cannot find any records of his parentage.  I assume they were English emigrants who settled in the Munster Plantation around 1580.  Do you have any information about this?

Also--do you live in Aghadown?  If so, are there any traces of that family there?  Are you a descendant?
