I have been reseaching my family history from the Skibbereen and Baltimore area in southwest County Cork.  I am focused on about 25 surnames - main surnames from this area are:  Walsh, Minihane, Connolly, McCarthy, Collins, Leonard, O'Brien, Hegarty, and Sheehan.

 

Would like to make contact with others doing research in the Skibbereeen and Baltimore area - particularly on these surnames.

  • Hi, I'm not sure if I already responded, but, I have the Hegarty nane within my family and also, most of the other surnames werre sponsors to the Hegarty children's births.
