  • Dear Craig and Clare,

There are several books on the Peter Robinson migration to Quebec Canada. I have not read them as my interests are in the  pre -1818 migrations to Halifax  Nova Scotia from Waterford.  By the way, your departure port is Cobh instead of Cove (both pronounced the same).   I  live in the US currently.

  • Thanks for your comment. The text above is a direct transcription of the text from Peter Robinson's report to the English Government. Both Cove and Cobh describe the same Port. There is much documentation of my multiple 1825 Peter Robinson migration families from the point of their departure from Cobh to early years in Ontario and then later migrations to the US midwest. I am trying to connect my 1825 Peter Robinson families to their family members that stayed behind in Ireland and identify their potential parents and maternal surnames.
