Hello,

My father is from Cork, but I don't know much beyond that.  His name is Edward James Barry.  His father was James Barry.  He was born in 1919 and died in 1976 in the USA.  I would like to know more about my father's family and I am not sure how to start or where to go on this site.  If anyone knows anything about my Dad's name would you please let me know.  If someone would let me know how to search more effectively I would appreciate it so much.
