I've just located baptismal records for my Lyons family in Killavullen/Doneraile/Castletownroche. Now I'm trying to locate death records for Hanora/Norah McDonnell Lyons who died about 1870 in Killavullen.She was born about 1820.

Is anyone else related to the Lyons family from Killavullen?

    In the meantime, civil registration began in Ireland in 1864, so as Hanora died in 1870 her death would have been recorded in civil records. These are available from the General Register Office. Here are their contact details:
