I am descended from Humphrey Winter and Bridget Halahan. They are listed in Griffith's Valuation as living on George St., Churchtown. Humphery's brother was William Winter of Windmill. William was married to Ellen Daly. Humphrey’s family and one of William's daughters immigrated to New York in 1853. I have a copy of the Annals of Churchtown and therefore know there were cousins living in Churchtown into the early 20th century. The 1901 and 1911 census also list Winters as living in the area at that time. I am looking for other descendants of this family as well as any information. Thanks!
