My Great-Great-Great Grandfather, Oors Lyons was married in October 1809 to Joanna Scannell, with marriage certificate from Blarney at St. Finbar's Church (south Parish), cork City.  The Baptismal Record for my Great-Great Grandfather Timothy Lyons, April 1809, lists his parents as Cors Lyons and Joanna Scannell of Bandon Rd.  Is anyone able to add any information about this family?

Thanks

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

The marriage was actually October 22, 1807. See www.irishgenealogy.ie   I don't see a baptismal record in St. Finbar's for Corns Lyons. Although their are some earlier records, the baptismal records end in 1777 and then pick up in 1789 and my guess is that he was baptized in the twelve year gap period. See register link below. Blarney has baptismal records from August 1791-June 1792 so I would review the register for that period to see if Joanna Scannell was listed.
