    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

www.irishgenealogy.ie has the Co. Kerry church records. I found young Daniel's baptismal record in Adrigole. The townland is Darrary in Templeomalus civil parish.

  • Phil:

Thanks for the feedback on your research success. I don't think you will find records for Timothy and Margaret. Assuming they were from Adrigole, records do not start until 1830. https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0001

We have a new XO Chronicles site  https://www.irelandxo.com/ireland-xo/history-and-genealogy/ancestor-dat…; where you can add the stories of those who left Ireland.

    Hello Phil

Take a look at the enclosed Word Document and maybe some of them are your ancestors.

Have you tried the RC registers which are free online at the Irish National Library?  Only drawback is you have to look through them all if you do not have a approx date.

    https://registers.nli.ie/parishes?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=cork+and+ross

    Good luck with your research

  • Dear Phil:  You should be able to find Jeremiah's civil marriage record through the Irish Genealogy website.  Here is the link:

    https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp

If you input the name of Jeremiah and the span of years and click the marriage box, you should find a marriage.

You can also find the children's birth records on the site as they are over 100 years old.  These records will also give you the maiden name of his wife and  (their mother).

If you need further help, please let us know.

    Kind regards,

    Jane

  • Hi Phil:

There are several possibilities for a Philip Sullivan born in Ireland between 1825-1830.  Both are in the parish of Muintervara in Cork.  This is located in the Durrus area of West Cork.  Here is the link to view the baptism records that I spoke of.  The site is free to view.

    https://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/search.jsp?namefm=Philip&namel=Sullivan&location=&yyfrom=1825&yyto=1830&submit=Search

The Irish Genealogy site contains the church records for parts of West Cork, North Cork and the Diocese of Kerry and they are free to view.

If you have a marriage record of this couple, does it contain any other information as to parents' names that would assist with narrowing down your search?  If so, please add it here.

If you have not created an Ancestor profile, I would recommend that you do so via this link:

    https://irelandxo.com/ireland-xo/history-and-genealogy/ancestor-database

Please keep us posted as to your progress.

    All the best,

    Jane
