I am looking for a record of the birth of Joseph Francis Spillane in Crosshaven, I believe on February 8, 1877.

I believe his parents were John and Ellen.

Any help would be appreciated.

    I could only find one 1877 civil birth index record for a Joseph Spillane in the Kinsale registration district which includes Crosshaven. However, it was for a Joseph Lester Spillane not Francis. if you want to get a copy of this record, you can contact the GRO www.groireland.ie  fill out their form and provide the year of birth, registration district and the volume and page number (20 and 379). Costs around 4 euros.
